Bebe Rexha
Bleta Rexha, also known as "Bebe", was born on 30 August 1989 in Brooklyn. Her family was raised in Staten Island in New York City by Bukurije (nee Isai), and Flamur Rexha. At the age of 21, her father immigrated to America. According to the Albanian dialect, blete refers to "bee" which is why she explained "My grandparents are Albanian and they started calling me Bebe to mean short." Rexha has composed lyrics to Nick Jonas's "Selena Gomez" as well as the Eminem & Rihanna single The Monster (which won a Grammy Award in the category of Best Rap/Sung Performance). She has also written songs for Selena Gomez & Nick Jonas. Rexha launched her debut play in 2015, I Don't Wanna Grow Up. It was some commercial success, but not as much as the track "I'm Gonna Show You Crazy"
