McKayla Rose Maroney has retired as an American musician and artist. She won the silver and gold medals in vault contests of both the American gymnastics team as well as the Fierce Five in the Summer Olympics in 2012. Early life. McKayla Rose Maroney, daughter of Erin (died in 2019) and Mike Maroney, was born on December 9th on the 9th of December, 1995 in Aliso Viejo. McKayla's Irish Catholic background is her family heritage. She had two brothers, Tarynn & Kav. Her homeschooling was completed to prepare her for elite gymnastics. Maroney told us that "when I was a kid, I would watch Tarzan and play through the streets on all fours. My mother said, "I should put this kid into gymnastics." Lauren Drain was a member of Westboro Baptist Church and wrote Banished in 2013 that recounts her experiences, such as being expelled from the Church. Lauren has been in relationship with the fitness model David Kagan (since August 2013) since they got married. Aria Skye Kagan is the daughter of David Kagan and Lauren. She was born in December 2019. The mother and father of Aria, her two siblings, and her brother were members of the church but cut all connections to her.
