Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek Pinault, born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jamesenez on September 2, 1966 is an American and Mexican actress and producer. She began her career in Mexico by playing a lead role in the television drama Teresa (1989-1991) as and the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) and for which she was awarded an Ariel Award nomination. She quickly made herself known in Hollywood with appearances in films like Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999). Hayek's performance as Frida the painter in Frida (2002) in which she also directed and directed, produced by Hayek, made Hayek the first Mexican actor to be awarded the Academy Award [6]. In addition, it earned her the Golden Globe Award nomination, Screen Actors Guild Award nomination and British Academy Film Award nominations.
